Re: Export to Norway.

Norway is not a member of the EC, thus no VAT in the exporting country should be applied for goods exported to Norway.

Since 23% Norwegian value added tax will be added to all goods imported, an invoice is always required as proof of the goods value. The customs forms are in practice completely disregarded.

Please put the invoice into a suitable envelope that can be located without actually opening the parcel.

For goods manufactured within the EC or EEA (sic), please add the following statement to the actual invoice:

The exporter of the goods covered by this document declares that, except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of EEA preferential origin.
Name: ...........................
Signature: ...........................

Failure to observe the above will cause an extra (and completely uneccesary) approx. 10% import duty to be added.
